FAQ
Will there be alcohol at this event?
Yes, alcohol will be available and included in the registration price, though it’s not the main focus of the event.
How old do I need to be to attend MAN CAMP?
The minimum age to attend IRON FORGE MAN CAMP is 18. While maturity isn’t always defined by age, state law recognizes adulthood at 18, and IRON FORGE MAN CAMP is designed exclusively for adults.
Do I have to be an experienced camper?
Nope! This experience is all about pushing boundaries and stepping outside your comfort zone. It’s crafted to challenge and inspire everyone, from seasoned campers to those who’ve never owned a tent (yet).
What if I don’t know anybody?
You won’t stay a stranger for long. We operate as a unit. Together, we’ll gear up, cook, set up camp, tackle challenges, and solve problems as a team. By the end of the experience, you’ll have built strong bonds with your unit.
What if there’s an emergency at home?
We will have a way for your loved ones to reach you (and for you to reach them), but please be cognizant of what a true emergency is.
I don’t really go to church, can I still come?
Absolutely! You’ll fit right in. Many other guys will be in the same boat. IRON FORGE MAN CAMP does include meaningful spiritual content, but it’s designed to apply to life well beyond a church building. We’re confident you’ll walk away with something valuable.
What time do I need to be there on Friday?
4:30pm-6:30pm – Late arrivals are heavily frowned upon and don’t make for a great start to the experience.
How long is it?
It is 48 hours off the grid. This means you’ll have 48 hours of peace & quiet! It’s as great as it sounds!
What if I have to leave early?
Then you’re going to be sad you missed out! Men commit. It will be worth it. Don’t look for excuses or find ways to get out of it. Find ways to stay engaged and get the most from the experience. You’ll be glad you did.
What if it rains?
You’ll get wet. Plan accordingly.
Can I register for my friends?
No, each man needs to reserve his own spot as a personal commitment. Plus, everyone must sign the waiver electronically — and do you really want your buddy signing for you? Just something to think about.
Can I bring a group from my church or men’s ministry?
Absolutely!
